Joseph Huang

Dr. Huang is an Intensivist at UPMC Altoona and a Clinical Instructor at NYU Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine. Prior to his pulmonary and critical care fellowship training, he was a Clinical Assistant Professor at Tulane University Department of General Internal Medicine. He has been working in global health in the last 14 years, including general internal medicine projects in Honduras and Nicaragua prior to joining EATI.

Dr. Huang is also a classically trained pianist who has given solo recitals and concerto performances in Chicago, New York, Oregon, Altoona, and Taipei. As the Chairman of Fundraising for EATI, he has given three concerts to raise funds for the procurement of much needed medical equipment for EATI and the Black Lion Hospital.
