Dr. Ermias Merkebu
Medical School: AAU Medical Faculty
Residency: AAU Internal Medicine
Prior to fellowship training, Dr. Ermias established his own Ermias Higher Clinic and worked as an Internist and in TB and HIV control and treatment programs.
After fellowship training, Dr. Ermias joined the AAU faculty and serves as EATI fellowship director.
Dr. Rahel Argaw
Medical School: AAU Medical Faculty
Residency: AAU Pediatric Medicine
Prior to fellowship training, Dr. Rahel worked as a Pediatrician at Yekatit 12 Hospital and served there as the Medical Director since 2012. In that role, she expanded the hospital from 250 beds to 500 beds. She was the first pediatric pulmonary fellow of EATI.
After fellowship training, Dr. Rahel joined the AAU faculty and serves as head of pediatrics pulmonology and critical care unit
